These clips are really easy and don’t cost a lot to make. I got the ribbon at half price at Hobby Lobby. While I was checking out I commented on what a great sale it was (1/2 price on all ribbon) and the lady working informed me they have that price about half of the time. Note to self – never pay full price for ribbon at Hobby Lobby.
I got the crocheted butterflies at

, along with a lot of other flowers to make similar clips. You can’t beat the price!
First glue one end of ribbon to the bottom end of your alligator clip.
Then glue the remaining ribbon, wrapping it around the top of the alligator clip.
Finish it off by gluing on your butterfly (or other item.) Super easy, and low cost!
