Before Lily was born I made her a bunch of pacifier clips using fabric scraps I had from other projects. They were super easy and cheap to make.
First I took strips of fabric 12 inches long and between 1.5 and 2.5 inches wide (depending on how wide I wanted the finished product.) For this purple and green dotted one shown, I did the 2.5 inches wide. I sewed the length of the strip with a 1/4 inch seam allowance, right sides together.
I turned it right side out (picture above) and turned 1/2 inch of the raw edges inside. I sewed along the top of the turned in edges securing them in place.
I took one end and threaded it through my clip, sewing into place.
I bought my clips off of etsy

. I love these clips because they come in colors so I can match them with the fabric. They also don’t damage the fabric you clip them to and they hold really well.
I folded the other end in 1 inch and sewed on velcro (as shown above) so it folded together like the picture below.
Then I just un-velcro, thread through a pacifier, and re-velcro. An easy, cute finished product!
This type of pacifier clip also works for MAM pacifiers. Just buy an adapter like
this one
I ended up liking the thinner ones more – like the brown dot one above. I just started with a strip 1.5 inches wide so the finished product is 1/2 inch wide.
